It is an exhibition as unique as it is historic – the first in Europe – which offers us an intimate look at the legacy of Diane von Furstenberg. Daring, in the 1970s, a wrap dress crossed at the front and delicately tied at the waist, marked with a bold print... This is all the genius of this visionary artist eager to see women flourish. free and confident women, without making them lose femininity or elegance... To celebrate the 50th anniversary of her legendary wrap dress, the exhibition looks back on the breathtaking journey of this “little exiled Belgian” who will live the American dream at just 24 years old... and will forever change the face of international fashion. The designer returns here to her home, in Brussels, surrounded by her most iconic vintage models which dialogue with daring contemporary reinterpretations in an intoxicating kaleidoscopic ballet.
