When Éric Emmanuel Schmitt writes a play based on an idea by Benjamin Castaldi on the mythical rivalry between Simone Signoret and Marilyn Monroe and the Seigner sisters come to perform it, we obtain this incredibly intense play.

The Synopsis:

In 1960, two legendary couples stayed at the Beverly Hills Hotel, in Los Angeles. In bungalow 20 live Simone Signoret and Yves Montand: they love each other, they are beautiful, still young, full of life, at the height of their glory. But Marilyn Monroe, living in the neighboring bungalow, is an irresistible woman whose relationship with the writer Arthur Miller is failing. Simone becomes Marilyn's friend, Yves tours with her while trying to resist her seduction. Alas, Arthur flees. The lives of four people will be shattered....
An ordinary story with extraordinary people that offers a striking portrait of two women who are as famous as they are scarred.
