Private detective finds stolen Van Gogh during pandemic

Hey, who goes there? And no, this is not Inspector Gadget, but Arthur Brand, presented as "the Indiana Jones of the art world". And for good reason, the private detective has now been investigating artistic crime for more than 10 years. A titanic work which has made it possible to find more than 200 works of art to date, including several very famous ones such as the painting Bust of a Woman by Pablo Picasso or the two bronze horses which decorated the chancellery of the Third Reich. An already very well-stocked hunting table to which a painting by Van Gogh has just been added.
It was Arthur Brand himself who announced it this Tuesday on his Instagram account. This is the garden of the presbytery of Nuenen, a painting stolen in a robbery in the Netherlands on March 30, 2020 when the security of the museum which exhibited it was compromised by the pandemic. The culprit of this theft, Nils M., was found a year later by the Dutch authorities. And since then, nothing...
So the investigator takes on this mission and does what he does best: investigate. He inquired, made calls and mobilized until he reached his goal when a mysterious stranger, who had nothing to do with the theft according to the detective, called him, declaring that he wanted to return the work.
This is how Arthur Brand added a new feat to his list of achievements. For the anecdote, at the time of the exchange, the painting estimated at 6 million dollars was given to him... in an IKEA bag. But hey, in those moments, we're not that close...
