Shamanic Visions exhibition in images at the Musée du quai Branly

A fantastic imagination, surreal landscapes, two or three chimeras and a good dose of psychotropic drugs... This is the explosive cocktail concocted by the quai Branly! The Parisian museum invites us for its brand new exhibition on a psychedelic and hallucinatory journey to the heart of the most recreational indigenous tribes of the Peruvian Amazon. Between the mystical compositions of the Shipibo-Konibo people and the ecstatic interpretations of contemporary artists piqued by the curiosity of these ancestral rites, the exhibition offers a slight glimpse of the shamanic visions which transcend the followers of ayahuasca, this hallucinogenic beverage of plant origin, extremely effective against blank page syndrome. Ecstasy guaranteed!
