Joann Sfar exhibition at the Museum of Art and History of Judaism, the ogre of comics invited

He is the one behind The Rabbi's Cat, this tale of philosophical adventures and brilliant theological digression sold in each publication in more than a million copies. Joann Sfar, the ogre of comics, compulsive illustrator and hard worker, is today crowned with his very first retrospective… and it is the Museum of Art and History of Judaism who sticks to it! Through the selection of nearly 250 plates of drawings, but also notebooks, photographs and film extracts, the exhibition highlights the coherence of his political and spiritual work while alerting young readers to the rise of anti-Semitism.
