Exhibition The Masters of Street Art at the Brugier-Rigail Gallery
5
A wall on which we find the paste of Banksy, Nasty and Jef Aérosol? We are neither in London nor in New York, but in Paris. With its well-filled address book, the Galerie Brugier-Rigail has an explosive free exhibition in store for us, featuring key works by the greatest contemporary street artists. Here, JonOne's graffiti splashes the walls, the black and white stencils of the Monkeybird duo teem with details, while the famous rats of the most famous anonymous street artist on the planet have managed to sneak discreetly into every corner of the gallery. . There, the evanescent silhouettes of Jérôme Mesnager invite us to follow them, while the labyrinthine writing of The Atlas challenges us. Among
all these iconic pieces, one particularly catches our attention, the red and black portrait of a sexy brunette woman with painted nails. The impertinent pioneer of Parisian street art Miss Tic who died in 2022 left us a note: “Art harms stupidity”. One more reason to visit this exhibition?
