Our images of the Colors Festival in Champigny sur Marne, the immersive Street art exhibition
What better playground for our street artists than an abandoned house of 300 m²? The Colors Festival is celebrating its big return to the outskirts of Paris by transforming this suburban house in Champigny-sur-Marne from floor to ceiling. Here, each room is transformed into a giant, ultra-vitaminized canvas: the angry Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland thus reigns her law on the ground floor, while the band character underground cartoon Cheech Wizard, wearing an oversized yellow Phrygian cap, with red and black stars, gets a makeover in a bathroom with very pop colors.
Go upstairs, open a few doors and discover an XXL fresco signed by master Jo Di Bona before coming face to face with the terrifying Onemizer shark. Between the animal paintings of Faunagraphic and the graffiti writing of the irresistible Lady K, this exhibition offers us an unusual and offbeat immersive stroll through the lair of seventeen daring street artists. An experience where art and nature intertwine with, at the bottom of the garden, a surprise workshop where you can give free rein to your imagination in a small shed. For the lazy ones, the terrace offers a relaxing escape around a steaming cup of coffee.
