Committed, feminist and anti-racist... These will be the three watchwords of this new edition of the Venice Biennale. For his 60th
event, this global meeting has chosen to honor foreign artists, expatriates, diasporics, exiles or refugees. The opportunity to discover the conceptual work of Aboriginal visual artist Archie Moore, to look at the marginal and multimedia work of Kapwani Kiwanga before supporting Julien Creuzet, a young hopeful on the French contemporary scene formerly in the running for the Marcel Duchamp prize. Under his false appearance of Jean-Michel Basquiat, the Franco-Caribbean artist promises to shake things up.
