Totem exhibition by Speedy Graphito at the Polaris Gallery
4
A precursor of street art in France, Speedy Graphito is a free artist, with striking graphics. His works with joyful and sparkling tones transport us to an imaginary world, at the crossroads between modern arts and comics. In this exhibition, the artist puts aside his usual themes and favors the arrangement of patterns and colors, which he juxtaposes to create harmonious wholes. Thus, canvases painted in bright colors and fabrics with decorative patterns are superimposed on the height of a drying rack, revealing unique compositions, similar to totems inspired by Mayan art.
Did you know?
The artist chose the name Speedy Graphito because it sounds like a brand. He evokes “the rapid side of the action of painting in an emergency and the graphic side of the simplification of stencil images”.

REIFFERS INITIATIVES From October 23 to December 12, 2026
Thomas Houseago spent several weeks working under the glass roof of Reiffers Art Initiatives, then left everything as it was. Théo Mercier occupies the ground floor. This year, the foundation's mentorship program is offering two studios to visit instead of an exhibition.
TAYLOR FOUNDATION From November 26 to December 19, 2026
The Taylor Foundation takes no commission: the proceeds from sales go entirely to the artists. To close out the year, its studio-home in Nouvelle Athènes is exhibiting bronzes by Éric Vanel, charcoal drawings by Mathilde Du Mesnildot, and paintings by Jan K.
CARPENTERS From October 20, 2026 to March 15, 2027
Michèle Lamy, partner and accomplice of Rick Owens, is the curator of Five Easy Pieces at Carpenters: five new editions of Owens' furniture, in steel left to rust and in marsh wood that has remained underwater for millennia.
PARK HYATT PARIS-VENDÔME From October 19 to December 1, 2026
During Art Basel Paris, fashion photography star Miles Aldridge is exhibiting his Technicolor heroines for free in a five-star hotel just steps from Place Vendôme; most of these images have never been seen in France before. The bonus: for €450, he'll take your Polaroid portrait in the Imperial Suite.
