“Sport has the power to change the world, the power to inspire, the power to unite people in the same direction.” Doesn’t this definition of sport by Nelson Mandela remind you a little of… faith? Often, sporting exploits are compared to miracles, with the cult of certain athletes seeming quasi-religious. In this original and lively exhibition, contemporary art and sport mix with objects reaching the relic stage. Pop cups meet colorful artist balls, placed next to legendary balloons like the one from the 1998 World Cup semi-final!

Did you know? If the iconic song I will survive became the official anthem of the Blues for the 1998 World Cup, it is because one of players, Vincent Candela, listened to it so often that it stuck in his head... to the point of humming it during training and installing it as the team anthem!
