Every Saturday summer evening, from June 8 to September 21, 2024, the Royal Gardens of the Château de Versailles are transformed into a magical setting illuminated by a thousand lights, offering visitors an immersion in the enchanting atmosphere of the celebrations of the Sun King.

The evening begins with a magical walk through the groves and fountains, usually closed to the public, but exceptionally open and illuminated for the occasion. As they wander around, visitors are transported into a baroque universe, where the greatest musical tunes from Lully to Charpentier, from Gluck to Rameau, resonate in a majestic setting.

From the Grande Perspective, decorated with statues, topiaries and elegantly illuminated pools, to the recently restored Latona Fountain, via the Green Carpet vibrating to the rhythm monumental flames, every corner of the gardens reveals treasures of wonder. Visitors can also discover contemporary light installations, such as the Bosquet des Trois Fontaines and the Théâtre d'Eau, where the play of light and water offers a breathtaking spectacle the breath.

This magical evening in the most beautiful garden in the world ends with a spectacular fireworks display overlooking the Grande Perspective, making us feel, for the space of an evening, the grandiose splendor of royal nights in the time of Louis XIV.

For this 2024 edition, some exceptional evenings are planned:

• Saturdays June 8 and 15: baroque style costume evening
• June 28, 2024 to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Air Force
• July 14, 2024 for National Day
• August 15, 2024 for the Nocturnes de Feu
• September 21, 2024 for an electro evening

Favorite for the special evening of August 15, the Nocturnes de Feu, which offers us a walk punctuated with visual surprises, offering us a magical stroll through the gardens of the Sun King illuminated with thousands of candles in a subdued and flickering atmosphere. Then comes the highlight of the show, hundreds of drones which come to life in the sky to form a veritable aerial ballet. This celestial dance, punctuated by music, culminates in a spectacular finale combining drones and pyrotechnics, thus closing the evening in apotheosis.

Each evening promises to be an unforgettable experience, where music, light and shows come together to offer visitors a timeless night at the heart of history.
