By crossing the last words of Éric Garner before his death ("I CAN'T BREATHE") with Fanon's psychoanalytic analysis of the psychosomatic consequences of colonial trauma, the dramaturgy of Jean-François Boclé highlights the muscular tensions of the colonized body, while Julien Boclé choreographs the movement of the respiratory muscles and Thierry Pécou regulates the rhythm through percussion.

Acoustic experience at the Conciergerie
by Assoukrou Aké, Vincent Cardoso, Bastien David
Conciergerie de Paris, Salle des gens d’Armes
From 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
In the enchanting setting of Nuit Blanche, a unique sensory experience will come to life, mixing sculptures and music in a symphony of memorable echoes. It's here, in this historic place built in 1313 on the order of Philip the Fair, with its vast 1700 m² supported by large stone pillars and majestic arcades culminating at more than eight meters in height that we will experience this formidable artistic encounter. Once a refectory for the king's 2,000 soldiers, this imposing space offers surprising acoustics that amplify every sound and note, creating a total immersive experience.

The beating heart of this artistic adventure will be the Métallophone, an innovative instrument designed by the composer Bastien David with its circular keyboard made up of 216 steel blades offering us a gestural, immersive and sound ballet. Its aquatic sounds, created by close notes, will resonate in an almost liquid way, in perfect harmony with the sculptures of Vincent Cardoso. These works of art, responding to the installations by Assoukrou Aké, will offer a visual and auditory dance.
Visitors will be invited to let themselves be carried away by the resonant echoes of this evening, where art and music will mingle to give life to a unique symphony, making this historic place vibrate with new energy.
