Under the direction of legendary choreographer Pina Bausch, this exceptional production masterfully revisits Charles Perrault's tale, offering a profound immersion into the mysterious and unsettling world of this figure with his many vanished wives.

Pina Bausch, an iconic figure in contemporary dance, brings her unique vision of Tanztheater, subtly blending dance and theater to deliver a performance rich in emotion and depth. Her choreography explores themes of curiosity, the forbidden, and secrets, illuminating the complex psychology of the characters of Bluebeard and Judith.
In this production, the principal roles are performed by principal dancers of the Paris Opera Ballet, guaranteeing high-quality performances. Léonore Baulac, Koharu Yamamoto, and Charlotte Ranson portray Judith, while Takeru Coste, Alexandre Boccara, and Mickaël Lafon embody Bluebeard. These talented artists promise to captivate audiences with their expressiveness and impeccable technique.
The sets and costumes, designed by Rolf Borzik, a longtime collaborator of Pina Bausch, masterfully complement the staging. Borzik is renowned for creating visually striking atmospheres that enrich the stage experience and amplify the impact of the choreography.

An invitation to immerse oneself in a fascinating world, blending the magic of fairy tales with the power of contemporary dance.
