Noémie Sauve displays Admiratio, her first solo exhibition at the Drawing Lab
7
Immediate embarkation in the work of Noémie Sauve! This self-taught artist, repatriated at short notice for this fascinating exhibition, takes us to the ends of the world with this marvelous project: Admiratio. A poetic and detailed account of two scientific expeditions, one carried out in the Pacific Ocean, the other carried out in the Vulcano archipelago off the coast of Sicily. The starting point of a new adventure where the artist collects samples, retains colors and shapes. Back in her Parisian studio, the designer, freely navigating between naturalist and fantastical registers, will compose her works with a dreamlike character, mixing drawing, sculpture and chemical reactions to restore the incandescence of a world in perpetual change.
