Eva Jospin transforms the Palais des Papes in Avignon

Who would dare to transform the Palais des Papes? Eva Jospin accepted this ambitious challenge by inviting us to lose ourselves in her dreamlike world, made of carefully crafted cardboard sculptures, paper masterpieces and other spectacular installations in the heart of this emblematic papal residence. Tree roots that overlap the walls, monumental plant embroideries echoing the hangings of yesteryear, improvised arches in homage to the majestic fountains of ancient Rome are orchestrated here in a dizzying spectacle, like so many testimonies of a nature which never ceases to fight to regain its rights.
