An exceptional scenography at the Rodin Museum for Fashion Week
During this Fashion Week period, Dior is putting on a show in the fashion capital par excellence, notably through the incredible scenography of the Dior fashion show at the Rodin Museum!
It is accessible in the heart of the sculpture garden of the Rodin Museum, until Sunday January 28, 2024, the closing date of Fashion Week. Come and project yourself into the atmosphere of this unique show and discover the monumental works of the Dior Haute Couture fashion show from the Spring-Summer 2024 collection. The event is open to all. All you need is your entrance ticket to the museum.
Designed by the talented Italian artist Isabella Ducrot, these gigantic fabric works lining the walls of this ephemeral space constitute the decor of the catwalk, which was carefully chosen by the artistic director of the House, Maria Grazia Chiuri. The latter has always had a strong interest in craftsmanship.
The installation, entitled Big Aura, adorns the walls of the room with 23 XXL-sized dresses, almost 5 meters high, which are arranged on a composition of irregular horizontal and vertical black bands. These dresses are presented in the image of sewing patterns, obtained through assemblies of paint and textiles.
Here, more than ever, through the work of material and color, the embroidery technique is highlighted. An incredible visit that might just amaze you!
