The 8th edition of the Salon Rendez-vous in Saint-Briac returns from May 8 to 11, 2024

Attention lovers of contemporary drawing! Rather than running around the Parisian trade shows, how about taking the pulse of the new scene far from the tumult of the city? Nestled on the Emerald Coast in Brittany, this emerging salon invites you to Saint Briac to discover the pencil strokes of the most fashionable designers. Here, the sketches of young hopefuls mingle with the sketches of established artists, while the show plans an astonishing “Art speed dating” during which new talents will present their portfolio to experts as well as their creative process. In addition to the meetings, drawing workshops, performances and Pablo Cueco's concert, the Rendez-vous à Saint-Briac this year devotes a vibrant tribute to Marinette Cueco, who died last October. As a final goodbye, this exhibition immerses us in the plant compositions of this weaver of dreams, art companion of arte povera and true pioneer of land art. We will also find the collector Jacques Deret who will present part of his collection of contemporary drawings, compared with that of Philippe Benadretti.

Outsider’ Paris brings together eighteen galleries from eight countries at the Bastille Design Center, from October 20 to 25, 2026, for its fourth edition. Outsider art also spills over into the Halle Saint-Pierre, which hosts the associated program and the solo exhibition of Mozambican artist Zefrino Chilaule.

MODERN ART FAIR

Giving it their all. Two thousand works, donated to the Arab World Institute museum by Parisian gallery owner Claude Lemand and his wife France. Without them, the museum would have four times less modern and contemporary art. It hasn't yet opened its doors; ten of these iconic pieces are temporarily on display in the Place de la Concorde, where the Institute is the guest of honor at the Modern Art Fair.
