An unusual concert at the Bourse de Commerce this weekend!

The Bourse de Commerce welcomes musician Maya Dunietz for a spiritual concert! The internationally renowned artist will perform the music of the legendary composer, Emahoy Tsege Mariam Guebru, whose creations follow an Ethiopian musical tradition, influenced by melodic blues piano and paired with complex rhythmic phrasing. But be careful, although his art may seem hermetic at first glance, it is above all soft tunes, which invoke the sacred. Recently deceased, Maya Dunietz decided to pay tribute to this woman with a thousand facets; Orthodox nun with feminist beliefs, translator, pianist and composer. We are not ready to forget the musician, veiled in white and black, with incomparable skill. Musical soul mates, no frills.
