MICHEL LACLOTTE AUDITORIUM - LOUVRE

A Spanish icon takes over an iconic venue. While the exhibitions Zurbarán and Sculpting Color bring an Iberian breeze to the Louvre, Rossy de Palma takes the reins of the Auditorium. The actress, Pedro Almodóvar's flamboyant muse, unveils ten films chosen as so many windows onto Spain. From Luis Buñuel to the more intimate treasures of the seventh art, two weekends of screenings and discussions paint a picture of an intimate, free, and passionate history of Spanish cinema.

OPENING NIGHT — ¡I LOUVRE MUCHO!
Friday, October 9 at 8 p.m.

Rossy de Palma inaugurates this carte blanche with an extensive interview with journalist and critic Aureliano Tonet. A conversation focused on art, cinema, and humor, before the screening of Sevillanas by Carlos Saura. In this 1992 film, the director orchestrates a dazzling dialogue between flamenco, music, and Andalusian choreographic traditions.
