Quand le photographe Haruhiko Kawaguchi demande à des couples de poser pour lui, ce n’est pas pour faire des photos kitsch, loin de là. L’artiste les invite à s’envelopper dans du plastique, jusqu’à être privés d’oxygène pendant quelques secondes. Prisonniers de ce matériau transparent, mais pourtant loin d’être inoffensif, les partenaires se retrouvent plus proches que jamais l’un de l’autre. Une métaphore des couples trop fusionnels qui finissent par s’étouffer ?
