Round faces, wide eyes and ultra-colored hair... Mr.'s neo-pop work doesn't remind you of anything? Takashi Murakami's spiritual son takes flight a little more by revealing the underside of his deliciously kawaii universe during an outrageously colorful exhibition populated by super-cute little characters evolving in a world saturated with images candy pink. A universe darker than it seems. Behind this watered-down aesthetic, the contemporary artist steeped in manga culture and pop art denounces the horrors of overconsumption and the chaotic environment in which we grow up.
