D’une catégorie à l’autre

Venez célébrer la rencontre de l’art, du design et de l’architecture. À l’instar du « foncteur d’oubli » – opération mathématique consistant à déplacer des objets d'une catégorie à une autre –, les artistes, designers et architectes de l’exposition brouillent les frontières entre leurs disciplines respectives, explorant la porosité des beaux-arts et des arts décoratifs.

Sous leurs doigts, des boîtes d’œufs deviennent un écran de télévision, tandis que des câbles électriques s’entremêlent jusqu’à former une chaise. Ils réinventent les objets de notre quotidien – couverts cubistes dorés, parapluies colorés –, proposant des associations à la limite du surréalisme, comme ces petites voitures télécommandées envahies par des cheveux. Vous ne regarderez plus le design de la même manière.
