* Ten crazy drawings to do with the Pompidou center
It's good to learn from the techniques of great artists, but we also like to invent new forms that resemble us! With 100(0) drawing moments, the Center Pompidou offers great activities to do with the family. Play with the letters of the alphabet, invent colorful pastries or draw funny portraits... in short, you won't run out of ideas with this cycle of creative videos!
A pencil, a piece of paper and an eraser... it's déjà vu! Based on an idea from illustrator Geneviève Casterman, this series teaches you to reinvent new shapes by scattering your lentil seeds, taking inspiration from your family portraits or collecting your sprouted potatoes. You don't need a lot of materials to do great things!
Half-portraits
Take a photograph of your mother, brother or friend's face. Cut it out, then start drawing the rest of the face of each half. The turn of a head, an eye, half a nose, half a mouth and that's it! Glue the two drawings together and you will see funny portraits forming!
Cutouts
Take a sheet and fold it in half. Draw several shapes then cut them out following your lines. Once this is done, spread the sheet wide and you will see a nice symmetry appear!
Lentils
We're talking about lentils, but if you don't have any, pasta, rice or cereals will do just as well! Simply scatter them, as you wish, on a large sheet of paper. Then draw the outlines of multiple shapes, multiple colors. Once the lenses are removed, you will discover a pretty illustration!
