A major anniversary

The City of Science and Industry is celebrating its fortieth anniversary this year. Inaugurated in 1986 in the Parc de La Villette, the venue celebrates this anniversary with a program designed as an immersion into the major scientific and technological transformations of recent decades, as well as those yet to come.

SEE YOU THE LAST WEEKEND OF MAY
On May 30 and 31, a grand festive weekend will bring together participatory experiences, spectacular demonstrations, workshops, and installations around the theme of “the City of Tomorrow.” Throughout the year, a series of lectures will also revisit forty years of climate, genetics, astrophysics, epidemics, and digital technology, with the aim of making major scientific issues accessible to the widest possible audience.
