Everyone's looking for their cat, even you?

The cat is everywhere. In apartments as well as on screens, in ancient mythologies as well as in contemporary imaginations. With Everyone's Looking for Their Cat, twelve urban artists explore this elusive figure through works blending poetry, science, popular culture, and introspection. The exhibition avoids the conventional homage to the domestic feline, instead using it as a lens through which to examine our behaviors. Agrume imagines humans adopting cat habits to inhabit the world differently. Kesadi transforms the feline into an employee caught in the daily grind, where the mouse becomes a metaphor for money. In Ardif, the animal merges with architecture and machinery in a hybrid anatomy where nature and urbanity interact. Other artists explore its symbolic and mental dimensions. Madame evokes the world of Edgar Allan Poe to make the feline a mirror of human impulses. Veks Van Hillik transposes the experience of Schrödinger's Cat into an installation where the visitor becomes an actor. Rubén Carrasco explores the calming role of cats in the city, elevating them to almost mythological presences. From kitsch icon and social media star at Kraken, to contemporary deity inspired by Chinese mythology at Wenna, or companion of our emotional projections, the cat emerges as a formidable narrative tool.
