De 1950 à 58, Pierre Bergé a partagé la vie de Bernard Buffet. Les années 1950 sont fondamentales pour cet artiste qui bouleversera les codes de la figuration française.  L’écriture acérée et la palette sombre et terreuse sont caractéristiques de cette période aux accents mélancoliques et désenchantés - mais la beauté et la profondeur que dégagent ces toiles ne pourront vous laisser de marbre.
