TÉMOIGNAGES DE L’ART CONTEMPORAIN

Avec ses 13 000 œuvres, le Musée d’Art Moderne représente toute la richesse de la création artistique du XXe et XXIe siècle. Aujourd’hui, cette institution est un incontournable de la capitale. Pour ce début de printemps, elle inaugure un nouveau parcours qui explore le thème de la narration envisagée comme une expression plastique que de façon littéraire. Conçu comme un récit, cet accrochage présente des œuvres d’art soumises à une actualité esthétique, politique et sociale tout en restant influencées par les aléas de l’histoire personnelle des artistes. Vous êtes invités pour la première partie, à redécouvrir des artistes ayant joué un rôle majeur dans les mouvements artistiques des années 1960 et 1970. La seconde partie du parcours rassemble les acquisitions récentes dont la plupart sont exposées pour la première fois. Elles témoignent du soutien actif du musée pour la création contemporaine qui décrypte notre monde en mouvement. L’art est sans cesse bouleversé par l’actualité et par les nouvelles technologies comme internet ou les réseaux sociaux, qui sont devenus des supports puissants de communication. Si vous connaissez le musée comme votre poche, c’est l’occasion d’y retourner. Vous serez à nouveau surpris !

Art Basel Paris 2026 free: our contemporary art tour beyond the walls

During Art Basel Paris week, from October 20 to 25, 2026, around fifteen monumental works and exhibitions are offered free of charge between the Grand Palais, the Trocadéro and the left bank: Tracey Emin facing the Eiffel Tower, Cosima von Bonin and Prune Nourry at the Petit Palais, Alice Diop at the Palais d'Iéna, Kutluğ Ataman at the Beaux-Arts.
