Between dreams, desires and desires, let yourself be surprised by the playful world of Matteo Cibic. The artist invites us into his garden of wonders, a faceted and surprising paradise universe, inspired by 18th century pleasure gardens. From the main courtyard of the Mandet Museum, we are greeted by a monumental inflatable statue which seems to warn us... this experience may not be easy. Intrepid and curious, we let ourselves be guided towards this enigmatic bust of Pinocchio. Welcome to “temple of I(u)”, subtly presenting the nuances of our seven sins in so many mischievous spaces. From the gallery of noses to the room of ideas, via the impenetrable theater of envy, drawing on our darkest desires, temptations become more and more irresistible. Then comes the time of madness in this improbable garden, an Eden populated with tree sculptures and ceramic plants flourishing under crystalline glass bells. The apotheosis of our joyful journey to the Land of the Imagination takes place in the pavilion of delights, a cabinet of curiosities bringing together new works made from recycled materials with the sumptuous collections of the museum, like a dream we would never want never wake up.

At the Auvergne Regional Museum, Matteo Cibic becomes a storyteller. Our Alice in Wonderland is transformed here into charming Little Red Riding Hood. Custom-made decors, boldly designed works, guided by the Auvergne version of Henri Pourrat, we enter a monumental storybook as a preamble. Will you let yourself be tempted by this tempting cake? Or would you prefer to go strolling in this wood haunted by the shadow of the wolf? Unless Mother-Grand's call is too insistent?
